That was the Extremis model. It was only the suit's undersheath (it looked like a bodysuit with circuits) he kept stored in the hollows of his bones. The rest of the armor (helmet, boots, gloves, chestplate etc) he magnetically called towards him like what you saw in Iron Man 3. In both that movie & Avengers , they made the unnecessary change that it was just bracelets (Avengers) and/or a lockchip in his forearm that called the suit to fly at and cover him. Ja, for real, if you can find it, get a copy of Iron Man Extremis by Warren Ellis. It is sooo well-written, feasible and realistic. I know what kind of science you dig, and you will lose your shit over how good it is. There's even a motion comic of it.

I FORGOT about Bendis and his obsession with Ms Marvel, Spiderwoman and Luke Cage!! Since he's doing X-Men crap now I hardly ever think of him and how he ruins everything.

It would be an AWESOME way of getting Beta Ray Bill in the fold if they do a Planet Hulk. I have to go back and read that again, it was so long ago I forget alot of what happened. The Surfer was in that wasn't he?

Don't clown me, darkie, but I'm actually loving Bendis' Uncanny & All-New X-Men books. Yes, I'm not loving the way he writes the timetravel-lost young Jean Grey (too emo, but it makes sense why she is), but his X-books are great. It's his Guardians Of The Galaxy run that blows huge chunks and where the familiar Schmendrik tropes and fuck ups, which he subjected us to for years in the Avengers book & big events are are. He's trying too fucking hard to put his mark on GOTG that he's miswriting practically everybody (even Groot! How can you fuck writing Groot up?!). Beta Ray Bill replaced Silver Surfer in the Planet Hulk animated movie due to Fox having the FF/Galactus/Surfer rights. My theory; Bill will join Hulk's Warbound crew & come to Earth for revenge with Bruce. They'll run into Thor & the Avengers & that's where he'll get his mitts on Mjolnir.

That would be AMAZING! Love to see Bill get his own movie series. If GotG can get one than ANY Marvel or DC character or characters can. It's not that I don't like Guardians but it looks very Bendisized. And as you were saying the book is garbage. I haven't been keeping up on his X-Men run too much. But I did read that Magneto solo comic and kinda liked it?...I think?

Anyhoo I really wanna see War Machine get into an Avengers movie and I know Ube likes the Iron Patriot armor but that should be like Stark's brother's gear or something and leave Rhodey as WM. War Machine is just the balls.

Meanwhile back at the Hall of Justice this pic came out today:

Image

I'm torn...I like how Olsen looks very breasty like the Scarlett Witch but Quicksilver looks like a new age douche that just got outa the gym. Ah well it's early...

You mean the movie, right? Lookswise, it does. I'm willing to give director James Gunn a chance though because I love his work.

Is the Magneto book out now? I thought it wasn't until April and was being written by somebody else?!?

Another theory based on the fact that RDJ is only signed for Avengers 2 & 3 and no more Iron Man movies. Instead of others' interweb speculation that Quicksilver gets killed off by Ultron, I think Joss Whedon will kill off Pepper Potts, Tony takes to the bottle hard & James Rhodes assumes the Iron Man mantle (like he did in the early eighties long before he became War Machine) for at least a couple of movies, if not permanently.

As for your pic, I dig Wanda's look, not Pietro's.

I'll look for the Magneto issue and post it up this weekend. Remind me if I forget! It was ok, not by Bendis but the art was kinda weak.

Rhodey as Iron Man would be ok but I'd miss the War Machine look....bleh..shitty day I'll catch up to you guys later.

The original comes from the "Crash and Burn" arc. Basically, information about Stane's old dealings is leaked causing a sizable chunk of the more 'edgy heroes to go after Stark.

Holy Fuckanoli!, Captain America:The Winter Soldier was an amazeballs thrillride from start to finish. I'm calling it now (bear in mind, this is my own personal preference): It was better than Avengers. Yeah,I said it. Joss Whedon has his work cut out for him with Avengers:Age Of Ultron. This is a gamechanger for the Marvel movies. A perfect meld of gonzo batshit insane action and assclenching espionage spy thriller, This shit was FUCKING RELENTLESS! No spoilers just yet, but, Go see it at once if you love any of the following high octane movies: Point Break, Terminator2 ,Bourne Identity ,Casino Royale ,Ong Bak ,True Lies ,Taken ,Children Of Men & Crank... Well, you get the idea. GO! NOW! 10/10
