That's why I asked in my first post if this place was run by adults.
It seems that a select few like to bully with xenophobic pedantry.
Huh? in my statement: "Our sandbox" = America. I am not talking about the forum.
Didn't see your first post. This is my "workplace" chill spot. I am certain you are not calling me Xenophobic. How many times you have participated in the fasting of Ramadan in the Middle East? How many times have you been an honored guest of a Chinese Master of the Tao? How many Sufis have asked for your commentary on works of Rumi, that included public readings of his work in Berkely California? How many times have you been asked to lecture on the Picatrix or some equally esoteric Hermetic work? How many times have you spoken at an Anarchist meeting about the advantages of the polyamorous habitation in the Alchemists ghetto of prague during the 16th century. or the need to revise American consumerism? I am not bragging, and am not an academic... no degree at all, yet spoke in an advisory capacity to congress and the dept of energy already this year. I am just an earnest seeker... who has found SOME things... and just TRYING to demonstrate to you I am not Sean Hannity or whoever... Not looking for (more) disciples, not looking for some flattery. Stop assuming you know me and get to know me, or if you are going to make off-color comments, offer a disclaimer. Meanwhile, you come across as a jack ass. You post articles from the eXile, which I can't tell if you take the rag seriously or not. Hell, it is shock journalism from the expat scene. I know that it is satire, do you? How many expats have you met?
I personally find the notion of making territorial claims nonsensical. prolly why I have little.
You made some off comments about violence in America and need for gun control. I posted a sound refute. You have not stopped attacking me since. What gives?
However, I read your comments and, like Monty Python's castle guards,
I just fart in your general direction. (Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.)
;)
Bonus points for the Holy Grail reference!
You seem to have some unwritten rules of forum conduct that involve nepotism and sycophancy,
and have judged that I am doing it the wrong way...

I disagree, and believe that it is all good fun. 8-)
Please don't get jealous over my hoard of wonderfully clever and hilariously funny cartoons.
Also, if you have any trouble with the big words, just ask. ;)
*That* is pretty pompous, sir. I don't really get the cartoon thing, but prolly because this is my work computer and i hate most of those useless storyless oneliners with some caricature on them, and I tend to have alot of time doing heavy data crunching. So I visit here and try to stay awake. I am not really certain what you think sycophancy means, but flattery in general, is not something I see demonstrated. No one here seems to be in side-kick mode to me. And a simple look at even my most exhaustive posts says "DON'T TAKE ME AS GOSPEL." but if you find something, share. share in good will.
Thank's for telling me what you see. Here is what I see; that new kid at school who comes up and starts insulting people, and laughing, nervously, because he is a social retard and doesn't know how to properly make acquaintances on common views, interests, or useful or pleasant conversation, in general.
As far as a sense of Fraternity between Ayhja, we have known each other going on 10 years. We have talked about EVERYTHING, and have a good friendship. Mostly cause we have common views on ALOT (but not all) things. Don't see alot of fascism in that, or elsewhere in this list. As for Buff, I gotta say, he is way right of right, but you know what - at least he don't post the damn entire website like he used to, and I do appreciate his contribution cause he is active. now he just copies the article. I am grateful for that cause it used to crash my browser to look at his posts. and I commend him for acquiesing to technical conventions requested, at my behest. (I know them big words, too :P )
I believe that a closer unbiased reading of my comments will reveal that I am not "anti-American",
but "anti-bigot", "anti-macho", "anti-wingnut" and "anti-asshole".
I am surprised that you can't or won't differentiate among the choices.
:o
What closer reading of the three things you posted in here? The off-color comments about Americans and guns, or the off-color comments about the evils of our economy, or the defense of resident aliens who attack our citizens? These are pretty hot topics in the conversational efforts you have made so far. That, and then assuming I don't know three syllable words because you can't refute the fact you didn't read up on something before commenting. Hell, name one thing you like about America... and why. Or ask us what we think of Canada, and why?
I also think you are tipping the scale on the vernacular to try and compensate for the posts where you are demonstrating a deficiency in gaining momentum after a few ad hominem attacks. Perhaps due to lackadaisical perusal of referenced virtual periodicals? (it takes a dictionary to know one... but it takes finesse to make it flow..)
As for "bigot" - not me. I got more time in pagan orgies than time in white clothes... Even my sheets aren't white. I have have or have had friends from almost every country where English is a prominent language (and lots from the Middle east as well) and the holy books in my house are hardly all one religion. Did you learn vodoun spiritism in the bayous of your youth, invoke the Caba Pir tua Saanir Coasgo in the deserts of Arabia, travel as the esteemed guest of a Hina to Kauai to celebrate the Blue moon of the sacrifice of the Moon that is the origin of the Luau, get invited to the Cherry Blossom festival as a guest of the japanese imperial navy? I assure you, from the ghettos of Kowloon to the streets of Bahrain, to the tutorial assistance at the spanish speaking citizens foundation in the San Francisco bay area.... Being accused of bigotry is new to me.
As for "wing-nut" - prolly not me. unless you mean probably mildly obsessive and too much coffee and a somewhat queasy stomach for horror movies.
As for "macho" - DEFINITELY NOT ME. wouldn't know who won the last superbowl. Was it the Giants playing?
As for "asshole" - get me when its not tax time.
You are free to put me on "ignore" if you like.
8-)
Uh-oh, I'm running out of emoticons!
TTFN
I am not at all going to put you on ignore, or anyone else. I might even end up liking you, if you bother to introduce yourself. I haven't *met* you is all. You ain't made a dent in my armor and you think you got me pegged, and you just hit me with a pic of this person I don't even know, or a comment as full of cliche as anything on Fox. If I wanted to hear this, I would watch Hannity and Colmes, or one of those other shows that never comes on my TV.
What do you do, what interests you? What did you come here for?
