Coles left, and he could've turned out to be a rookie QB's best friend, like Flacco's Mason, or Ryan's White) and turns out he is just as valuable as Randy Moss at this point in the year. Also, who would've thought that Randy Moss would become the penultimate possession receiver in the league, let alone in NE?

I only own Cotchery in two leagues but I have yet to start him; and I start Randy every week in three, I think.
This week is the first week I will start both of them.

Who's your fantasy crush at this (early) point in the season?
I've got a team full of pleasant surprises, most of my WR's have been inconsistent in the past, but this year they're doing OK...Also, I got some nice points from Pierre Thomas and Frank Gore, unfortunately Gore is hurt...

I think I'm just going to give up now. 0-4 and all losses are close/fluke losses. Damn....

Dude is anyone doing good?

I don't follow this thread too closely because I'm not in your guys' league, but I see Ayhja and TT looking for a slaughter rule...and I know I'm doing the damn same.

And I had first pick, and had bar none the best team on paper starting the season.....this is gay!

Give up?!! Give up???!?! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...the tough get goin'! I don't wanna hear anymore loser talk! I got my ass handed to me every Sunday of the year last year but I hung in there! I know as a Yanks fan it's easy to throw in the towel but I won't let you TT!!

Oh and Drew...football is a humbling game you hang in there too.

What's your record thus far, Drew? (And possibly your team roster).

Also, if you want to join, I think we have one team that is non-participating, so I suppose you could join if we pressed you and if you had an interest ... TT, if you can verify that Dan Itoman's team is not completely in cruise-control mode, and see if we can corral him back to at least siting his bye-week players, that may be in the best interest of everyone. No one likes losing to an invisible person with two players on their bye, as that is just rotten luck. He's not totally absent, as he did enact one transaction around 10 days ago, but he hasn't moved his roster at all in the past 4 weeks, even with the byes starting and all.

This league is the one I put the most stock into, even though it's the only one in which I wasn't present and accounted for at the live draft.

Also, this is my second full season at trying out fantasy, so I went all-in and joined 4 Yahoo! leagues, 3 ESPN, and 1 CBSSports league.

My records currently stand at:

2-2 ... AFElite
3-1 in both ESPN leagues with total strangers

3-1 in the CBS league

and the Yahoo leagues shape up like this:
3-1
2-2
2-2
0-3-1 ... and I probably I have the most stacked roster here (on paper) of all my leagues, and I still can't win worth a damn.

I dont' know about Dan's team and honestly I don't have the time to track him down especially if he's not on this site. Who's friend is he? Maybe they should talk to him.

And I'm not really going to give up, it's just super frustrating to be 0-4 when I thought I had an excellent team at the beginning of the year

:laff: That's what you said last year.

I just heard on the radio that Braylon is now with the Jets. Is that in improvement?

Yes, I would say that's an improvement for both Braylon and the Jets....
