Buffalo...what a sad sad sad situation. Those people deserve better up there than what they get from that ownership. It's unfortunate to say but you almost have to wish a guy like Ralph Wilson would just pass so a competent ownership group will come in and douche the whole organization.
Spiller will probably get the start and get his head handed to him cause everyone is going to focus on him.

Re: Fantasy Football 2010 [AF Elite]
Show of hands: since we still don't have any more members than we have had in the past seasons, and there's a surplus of good players to be had, would any one in the league be opposed to this becoming a two-QB league? (meaning you need to start two QBs each week.)
I'm thinking this is really good idea, even if we get two surprise new teams, bringing our member total to ten.
That would be around 16-20 starting quarterbacks for the entire league each week, and there would be no need to have back-up QBs on a roster, unless one of your two guys has a bye. There are at least 8-10 elite fantasy QBs each season for any given year since 1995, but there's still 18-22 competent (read as: average) QBs in the league worth starting, if you play to their strengths, home-games, and situation.
The rest of the QBs (the bottom 10) would be waiver-wire fodder, and can be picked up for plug-n-plays based on the matchups. Unless you are a QB in Buffalo or Cleveland, and to a middling degree, all those in the NFC West, most if not all of the other QBs in the league are well worth considering, depending on the given week.

1 - nay.
(really? I feel very strongly about starting Joe Flacco alongside Matt Ryan... think of the coincidental 2008 tandem.)
^^ I think the above is my form of sarcasm; I'm not very good at it. :disappoint:

Re: Fantasy Football 2010 [AF Elite]
Every league I've ever played in aside from this one had 2 QB's...and it works out great and is a lot of fun.
Hell, I just now realized this only has 1 and I'm sorta bummed about it to be honest. With however many teams we have...there's a ton of quality QB's available that would otherwise be collecting dust on the bench until the only starter's bye week? no thank you.
Vote: 2 QBs!!

(really, Drew? How many leagues have you played in where 2 QBs were the norm? Even though I've only been into fantasy football (net-wise) for maybe only a year or two before you picked it up, from what I can tell, it's pretty rare to see in casual circles. Maybe I just have some uptight custom leagues & friends.)
Since the 2-QB format is best utilized for leagues that are smaller (below 10 total teams) I do see how it could work with even a thinner pool of 12-teams, even as big as 16 (there are 32 teams in the NFL, after all. Downside is that only around 2/3 of those starting QBs are ever really good option in fantasy, or on a consistent basis.)
Uber, erokero, trashtalker - what do you guys have to say?

With such a small league, I think having 2 QB's make it more fun, and you feel like you're utilizing more of your roster.
