I could slot him in (I think) if you something hinky just happened when you were setting your roster.
I doubt I'll always be so receptive later in the season, because some could abuse the "but I really meant to start him, not this guy" angle, but I know for some of us, yeah, this has happened in the past before.

It is early in the season, so consider your kicker (whomever it was) a part of this week's roster, Ube. ;)

On a related note:
There are around 2-4 RBs that have consistently made my numerous leagues.
They are Gore (who is KILLING me) , Foster, McCoy, and Best.
Last week, I had Foster on my bench in half of my rosters, and this, Detroit decides to get scrappy, and now Best blows up for 40+ pts, all the while I only started him in 1 league (out of 4; could have been 5, but I must be a sucker in our league as I just traded him (and Steven Jackson, and Hightower) for Ryan GrantIR. It was a last hour decision between Best and Tomlinson, and I honetsly thought LT had a better chance at scoring multiples this week.

And last bit:
It seems I was half-right on my instinct to start either Collie or Floyd over Arian Foster. (12 to 18 to 15)

Actually, I just didn't get around to changing my lineup for this week because I'm on fall break and wasn't around a computer until late Sunday... it's really not that big of a deal...

I hear ya. It's a tough year for me in Fantasy....you can imagine how my Reality is going. :(

My team is too epic to fail... even when *I* take a bye for weeks, I still come out undefeated.

I really had no idea that McFadden would be such a wrecker this season, and that the Chiefs would be the most run-oriented team in the league.

I got nearly all my other guesses correct, and that is why I am the best (and perhaps why I wish to bestow my skill unto others).

Anyone remember that *crazy* trade I made in week 2 or so with Ryan: whereby I gave up Steven Jackson (my keeper) , Jahvid Best, Dez Bryant, Tony Romo, and Tim Hightower, only to get in return Aaron Rodgers, Percy Harvin and (in my mind, a filler player) Darren McFadden?
So far, S. Jackson is still as good as he was last year, (though Sam Bradford doesn't like the RB screen very much) Jahvid Best has turned out to be an inconsistent, yet playmaking rookie, alongside Dez Bryant, Tony Romo is now kaput, and I haven't really paid attention, but Hightower was discarded from team Semi-Pro some weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Rodgers somehow, inconceivably accrues for me 18+ pts weekly, at minimum, Percy Harvin is not getting much playing time, what with Andre Johnson and Roddy White dominating my WR positions, but Harvin now has become the tantalizing WR2 he was touted to be in the pre-season, though it took about a month, and a andy Moss trade later for it to occur; and now Darren McFadden seems to be the NFL's leading rusher here at the cusp of week 8, the NFL midpoint.

It's crazy this season (and especially injury-riddled as well).
