Sorry DL....it's too late to select keepers. You'll just have to draft your team. Since the draft is tomorrow morning, we can add teams after the draft, but it'll be too hectic to do it beforehand

Your team was still drafted, DL. You probably still have a good team

Whoa, I have a brand new team. I thought the draft was still at least an hour away, if not rescheduled until next week.

So, was anybody else present at the draft?

Erokero and I were the only 2 there. An email was sent out yesterday reminding you all of the draft

I read it, and it said "12 PDT"... which I took to assume Pacific Daylight Time, and I thought, "that makes some semblance of sense, even though I've never heard of this acronym, because TT is located in Northwestern America, isn't that right?

Taking that in account, I thought up until twenty minutes ago that if the draft wasn't rescheduled, it wouldn't start until 3 pm NewYorkStandard... which is thirty minutes from now.

I'm still kinda deflated over the whole ordeal; not having enough members, early and mostly unattended draft, flaky friends. I will look over the draft though; I had no idea that the keepers we selected would actually be drafted within the first three rounds. I thought they would just be "held over" in our roster, and we just draft normally, but with three less rounds for those who selected keepers.

I'll decide in the next few days whether or not I'll want to punt this season. It did have promise, but we only have five participating teams now, and ~10 days to sort out the mish-mash.

weird, my email said 12pm ET. which was why I dragged my hungover butt out of bed at 6am this morning....

No team looks horrible, in fact each team looks pretty even, plus there's always waivers and trades if anyone wants to tweak their teams.

@ DL, your team actually looks pretty good, other than a lack of depth at the wr position. But Teams BS & Bowlers both have wr's up the ying-yang just ripe for trades.

besides, want to know what advantage TT and I got showing up for the draft? We both had a brain freeze of drafting 2 qb's with the same bye week. Worse for me since TT mentioned it during the draft, and I still did it...

I can look it over, but it might be possible to reset the draft for next week. I'll have to see what to do about the keepers, but I might be able to change the draft for next weekend.

The teams do look really even, so I don't think there is anything to worry about

That's hilarious. :laff: TT did this as well?

I actually ended up with a rounded team, not strong, but overall, not weak either... had I showed up, I would have been astounded that the computer was "re-picking" my keepers in the first three rounds, and I would have been freaking out, asking if this is normal for you guys as well.

I wanted Warner back on my team in this league mostly, and I finally landed Kevin Smith, so that's the positive; the negative is that I ended up with about six players that were on my do not draft list: namely all my drafted backup WRs and the majority of the unheralded Ravens backfield. I just want to point out that I'm not really complaining... this is just for bragging rights and a good companion effort to the NFL season. But if those that wished to participate are given a preset "lottery" team, they feel less involved somewhat, like it was there misfortune that they ended up with a bust; or that they could have absolutely drafted their prized sleeper, but because they missed the draft, they are left grumbling under their breath.

If there is a way to reset the draft, that should be in the best interest of everyone, except those that actually took the time to draft, set their clock, and join in; I think DL could be coaxed back in, and whoever his invited friend is (though I suspect he was was mocking me maybe?) ... and I'll try my best to recruit at least two more teams if you can indeed set the draft over again.
Sorry to make so many requests and suggestions, but this has been the best league experience I've had thus far, and for a thankless commissioner job, you are quite accomodating, TT. Thanks for the continued perseverance through these ordeals, man.
