Ok, so we will not redraft (which I'm very thankful for)
I have one guy pondering taking over one of the teams and if you guys could look for someone too that would be awesome. They will take over the current teams that have no-show managers so they will not have to pick their teams based on free agents.
Just a reminder of the 2 teams we need owners for: All-Pro Bowlers and 4th and looooong.
First come first serve on those teams

I just got a friend to take over All-Pro Bowlers, which means now we only need a manager for 4th and loooong

I just invited anew member here at AF who previously stated he would be interested to participate, but I waited until just now to message him about seeking an invite from you.
I (we) wanted to get things sorted out before assuring him of a place, date, or guarantee about joining. If he's interested, I'd expect us to have our full 8-man league by the start of the weekend; if not, call dl1 out and ask him who his friend is. :p

Well, I just followed my own advice and became a first-time league commissioner; now all I need are minions.. I mean, willing teams.
This is meant as no disrespect to trashtalkr's great leadership and understanding throughout this arduous process of setting up the foundation to this upcoming season, but I wanted to try my hand at this, and I wanted to see how much leeway ESPN customizable leagues give you in terms of making a league exactly particular and extremely intricate. I found that Yahoo! is a tiny bit better at the specifics I jotted down last night, but I also found out that if you are a Yahoo! user, you can only have a max of four fantasy teams ... man, I did all that work just to end back with a still very intelligent but not quite exact quotient at ESPN :?
So, for those of you that wish to indulge me (please, I'm begging you, indulge me) private message me for an invite along with your e-mail address, to join the still experimental, incentive-laden, perhaps defensive juggernaut(?) league that is the
AF Enterprise. i want as many if not all of you who have replied within this thread to join this league for this trial year, and subsequently tell me that I did a stupendous first-year job, or whether I flopped hard in my endeavor to appease you guys.
Oh, just so you know, this is a mere tandem league with TT's original and still *official* AF league, but I just wanted to see what a league with all the bells and whistles activated would look like... and... if the majority approves, well I don't know, but we might have a good reason to have a dual-AF-league, one where all settings are standard, and the other which is juiced up more than the Vikings defensive line (jk :p )
This is the league's mainpage:
http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/tools/leag ... eId=728897 (just so you know what you are getting into; IDP, very minor PPR, +1UP for W/R who break the 100 yard plane in a game, and much more... I still think I made the DEF way too powerful, but I'll be researching whether or not this is true.)
I still don't know if I can get enough teams on board this late to hold the draft this Sunday, but if you think you have a good time in-between next Mon-Wed, in case we don't make the Sunday hopeful race to draft, feel free to drop a few times and dates that work best for you.
Thanks, peeps.

Sorry IO, I already have 4 teams going so there is no way I can add a 5th. Sounds interesting though....

IO I already have two teams and I don't really dig fantasy football all that much as it is. Plus my work life is stifling which is why I was away most of the summer so I'm gonna pass for now brother. Maybe next year? I should be fired by then.

Well, looks like I'll have to shelve this league until next year. I did start it kinda late.
Mayybe I'll set it as an automatic league with absolutely no participation by any party and see what would happen.

What if we do that with the last team that's unoccupied right now? Leave it as is and see whoever loses to that team has to do a weeks worth of sprints or something....yeah I gotta work on the punishment a bit.

IO came up with a manager for that team. I sent him an invite today so we'll see if he signs up
