Do you want some receivers, Ty?
I have St. Louis WR "#1" Avery, Antonio Bryant, and Romo's new "big target", Roy Williams, so just send me an offer if you'd like another WR.
I still think I could have won had I started McGahee, Sproles, and the NO D/ST. AND if R. Wayne gets less than 10 points tonight, then, "theoretically", I would have won this week in an upset.
Man, you have a great team, Kumicho.
Even if you do have 4 quarterbacks, it's still a force.
God, I wish I hadn't missed the draft. I only had three people on my checklist that were "must-haves" for my team this year: it was Kevin Smith, Kurt Warner, and Frank Gore. So, basically, nearly an identical template of my team from last year.
Yeah, and I realize I ramble on about nothing mostly, it helps clear my mind so I can forget about this nonsense.
Where's TT at?

I'm right here, man. I was out of town for the weekend, but I'm also upset that Chris Johnson had such a big game. Kind of pisses me off...

Yeah, well I got exposed to Gore. Not much better. I wonder who I face this week. (Please let it be Team Brady, I need a bounce-back win)trashtalkr wrote:I'm right here, man. I was out of town for the weekend, but I'm also upset that Chris Johnson had such a big game. Kind of pisses me off...
I have to say, I think Ochocinco is turning back into an every week starter again. :p
Sorry to bring this up again, but erokero and I were wondering why both the kickers and D/ST stat categories are toned down this year. Could you give us an explanation as to why defensive touchdowns are only worth 3 points, instead of 6? And perhaps why a missed kick from Crosby can garner negative 2 points? I know it's minor, but is there a way to ask you to revert these categories back to the standard, or at least, put them to a leaguewide vote?
Maximize point potential, I always say... minimizing them inhibits and sometimes altogether allows a position to be forgotten.

I didn't change any of the kickers or defensive point totals from last year. They are exactly the same. I only changed some of the offensive numbers per your request

See, I thought that was it. I don't know what happened, and I know you weren't lying, but some of the stats are kinda out of whack.trashtalkr wrote:I didn't change any of the kickers or defensive point totals from last year. These seem like the discrepancies from last year to this year:
- Passing: 40+ yard TD pass bonus 2pts
I actually like this one... I'd also like to implement it with RBs who run for scores of 30+ and wide recievers who go for 40-50+... I like incentives for those that go big.
I'm currently involved in a league where RBs or WRs who go over 100 yds rushing/receiving get an extra 2 points added to their total, and for QBs who throw for over 300 yds, they get the same two-point bonus. It's nice to see who consistently gets to those milestones and how often. I'd opt to include this (tho for just +1pt), but since we're already in progress, I'd rather hold off for a league vote next season.
- Team Defense / Special Teams
Kickoff Return TD 3 Punt Return TD 3
Interception Return TD 3 Fumble Return TD 3
this is what I was talking about; all are worth only half...
- Kickers
FG Missed (40-49 yards) -1
FG Made (0-39 yards) 2
FG Missed (0-39 yards) -2
and this is what erokero noticed in week 1 (and I realized Elam sucked) when Bironas gave him a big bagel in his match.

Yeah, I've got too many QB's, and want to drop one as soon as this game is over with...Some good WR's are out there, I hope I can scoop one up...

Sorry IO, I don't remember changing those at all! I can't change point totals now, so we're going to have to deal with them and reevaluate for next year. But I definitely don't remember changing any of those scoring options
