And I think I may be able to get a couple more guys on this year too, I"m feeling more and more influential...Definitely need too, man I'm away from the site more than I like..!
You guys that are here consistently...I'm forever humbled..! Thanks so much guys...
message to Uber, DL1, and erokero.. you guys still have time to submit your 3 keepers, so whenever you have that decided, just post it here and either TT or I will update your team's selection (between the three of you, only Uber has a player selected, and it's Peterson).
any other suggestion, inquiries, or friends you might like to have join the league can be discussed here.
Alright, in the past week, I've gotten a tentative yes from Drew, though he hasn't officially joined the league yet.
So far, we have a definitive head count for at least 6-7 teams, and upwards of 9 teams (including dan itoman + Drew)
I've amended the DEF/ST scoring category so it isn't so puny this season, and took the liberty to add return yards.
For all other teams: recruit recruit recruit... I need to message dan itoman again, as well as Drew, but if they both
say yes, we will have 9 teams; that means we only need 1 or 3 more teams for this year to be a full & competitive one.
We do still have over a month to get things in order, but if we are able to do them sooner, it means less frenetics and anxiousness down the line. :)
Just a random question for the more seasoned FFers:
Does anyone know for certain of a fantasy football service that allows for this point setting...
0.5 per reception for RB
1 ppr for WR
1.5 ppr for TE
I don't know anything about that IO, sorry...But I can try to find out some more information...
"Keepers are now locked in your league. Only the League Manager has the ability to edit selections."
So, who do I kick my suggestions for keepers to now..? I think I want to add Reggie Bush and Donovan...I think they're both headed for some career years, I like the way Reggie played towards the end of the season and the playoffs, he should be healthy also...And both of them have chips on their shoulders...
And it really boggles my mind at this moment in my life to realize that the most "accomplished" NFL athlete today is Reggie Bush.
For the past several years, he's shown flashes of ability, but still been clowned on; always thought to be "injury-prone", or caught up in the glaze of celebrity/athlete stardom instead of focusing on making himself a more dedicated athlete, and to his critics, a more "grounded" NFL-style running back that doesn't need to dance around 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage in order to gain just 2 or 3 yards of real down-the-field ball movement.
With that diatribe done, and disregarding the USC court scandal he was primarily involved in and punished for (along with his alma-mater)
Let's have a look at the "grand glory" of Reggie Bush's career accomplishments: former Heisman Trophy winner, former BSC National Champion, (used to wax the hottest of KK sisters regularly), AND a current Superbowl-winning running back.
